Hand-made in Italy is the name of the performance featuring photos by Oliviero Toscani and taking place in New York City from February 2009.Big-size photos of luxury products made of vegetable-tanned leather by renowned Italian brand names and skilled artisans,portraits of the master tanners and their artisan work, a video performance dedicated to this timelles and unique leather will be the focus of a multi-media show conceived by Oliviero Toscani and La Sterpaia, Workshop of the Art of Communication.

It will be a travelling art exibition aimining to promote throughout the world the Italian excellence.During the year 2009 the exhibition will move also Tokyo and Seoul.
